What Is Dry Needling?

Dry needling (DN) involves the insertion of thin needles into muscular and connective tissues for the management of soft tissue injury and pain. In short, DN reduces pain quickly through the release of your body’s self-produced pain relievers. DN also ramps-up a localized tissue healing response for long-term resolution. These effects can be enhanced with the attachment of electrical stimulation to the needles.
